Aurivita Medspa Continues to Invest in Advanced Aesthetic Education: Aesthetix360 Cadaver Lab in Kansas City
Advanced anatomy, meaningful connections, and what’s next for skin longevity
At Aurivita Medspa, we believe that great aesthetic care doesn’t come from simply learning one technique and repeating it.
It comes from continuing to learn, staying curious, surrounding yourself with leaders in the industry, and bringing that knowledge back to every patient we treat.
That is exactly what made our recent trip to Kansas City such an exciting experience.
On September 16–17, 2026, Carolyn Lomicka, APRN and owner of Aurivita Medspa, participated in Aesthetix360 with internationally recognized aesthetic educator Dr. Benji Dhillon for an advanced cadaver lab experience.
Seeing Facial Anatomy Beyond the Surface
Injectables are performed on a three-dimensional human face, yet so much of aesthetic education is initially learned through two-dimensional images and surface anatomy.
Hands-on cadaver education offers an entirely different perspective.
Aesthetix360’s training combines cadaveric anatomy with advanced injection education, allowing experienced injectors to better understand the structures, planes, depths and anatomy that influence facial treatment. The program is designed around seeing anatomy through actual dissection rather than relying solely on diagrams.
For Carolyn, this type of education is an important part of continuing to refine her approach as an injector.
“You never stop learning when it comes to facial anatomy and aesthetics. Every training gives you another opportunity to look at what you do differently and come back to your patients with a deeper understanding.”
Education Doesn’t Stop With the Injection
One of the things Carolyn values most about advanced training is the opportunity to learn alongside other experienced aesthetic professionals.
These experiences provide more than technical education. They create opportunities to exchange ideas, discuss patient trends, talk about practice challenges and learn from providers who are continually pushing the industry forward.
And that’s exactly what happened in Kansas City.
Connecting With True Aesthetics
While in Kansas City, Carolyn also spent time with Taylor Campbell-Semien, APRN, founder of True Aesthetics and TrueTox®, to talk about the future of aesthetic practices and the continued growth of the TrueTox membership model at Aurivita.
The conversation focused on membership growth, patient retention, the evolving aesthetics industry and what’s next for Aurivita.
For Carolyn, these conversations are just as valuable as the hands-on clinical training.
Building a successful aesthetic practice isn’t only about providing beautiful results. It’s also about creating a practice model that allows patients to receive consistent, thoughtful care while continuing to invest in education, technology and innovation.
True Aesthetics describes its network as a community of independently owned aesthetic practices built around clinical insight, collaboration and practice growth.
And Then There’s What’s Next…
One of the most exciting conversations coming out of the trip was skin longevity.
Carolyn had the opportunity to learn more about Re-Q Health, a new professional skin-longevity approach developed by Rapalogix.
Re-Q’s Pro-Longevity Face Serum is powered by RLX-201, a proprietary molecule designed to support cellular balance and skin health over time. The company describes the product as part of a new category of professional skincare focused on skin longevity rather than simply addressing the visible signs of aging.
This concept is particularly exciting because aesthetics is continuing to evolve.
The conversation is becoming less about simply correcting what we see today and more about how we can support the health and quality of the skin over time.
That philosophy aligns closely with the direction Carolyn sees for Aurivita.
What’s Coming to Aurivita?
We aren’t quite ready to share everything yet…
But Re-Q is something Carolyn is very excited to explore further, and she can’t wait to bring more information about this emerging skin-longevity category to Aurivita patients.
As Carolyn continues to evaluate new products and technologies, the goal remains the same:
Bring the best education, science and innovation back to our patients in Clearwater and the Tampa Bay area.
Whether that means advanced injectable education, CO₂ laser resurfacing, regenerative treatments, skincare or emerging approaches to skin longevity, Carolyn believes patients deserve a provider who continues to learn right alongside the rapidly evolving aesthetics industry.
Always Learning. Always Evolving.
The Kansas City Aesthetix360 experience was a great reminder that education is never finished.
From two full days of advanced cadaver anatomy with Dr. Benji Dhillon, to conversations about growing the TrueTox membership at Aurivita, to exploring what’s next in skin longevity with Re-Q Health, this trip was filled with education, collaboration and exciting possibilities.
And Carolyn is already looking forward to bringing those ideas home.
Stay tuned—we can’t wait to share more about what’s coming next at Aurivita Medspa.
